As Christians, it is our job to spread the word of the Lord with the word. As foster parents, our job is to help raise these kids to be good stewards and members of society. Naturally, we want to share God’s word with them, to offer them hope, understanding, unconditional love, and tools to continue on with their lives.

While telling our foster kid’s about God’s love, introducing daily prayer and taking them to church are all wonderful, providing them with a wider understanding of the Lord and his miracles is even better. Here are some great books that are helpful tools in introducing Jesus to your children in a way they will understand and relate to. Some are more simple and focus on God’s unconditional love, while others touch on the stories of the Bible.
